Denise Milan together with The Art Advisory Council, at Fetzer Institute.
During the next three years Denise Milan will be holding, in Michigan, the position of Art Advisor at Fetzer Institute – private foundation with the motto of promoting love and forgiveness with forces that conduct individual and community life.
The Institute pursues the primordial meaning of the words that conduct its policy and that end up being weakened by their recurrent and inappropriate use. Developing love and forgiveness through concrete actions is the mission Fetzer proposes. To do so, the Institute, which can count on the collaboration of great world leaders as the Dalai Lama, has 16 Advisory Councils. Divided in areas that range from Natural Sciences and Spirituality to Non-Governmental Organizations and Art, the Advisory Councils construct and suggest projects in a wide variation of formats, such as books, exhibitions and scientific research, which provide the living experience of love and forgiveness.
Integrating The Art Advisory Council, Denise Milan actively participates in meetings of her sector in the headquarters of the Institute and prepares her artistic proposal of love and forgiveness for the Global Gathering, international meeting to be held in 2012, in Assisi, Italy, in order to expand Fetzer Institute’s mission.
